Rating Labels Explained
Strong Play - Join the Parade!
The player is significantly outperforming their line across all trend windows. Books haven't adjusted yet, creating value.
- L5/L10/L20 averages all exceed the book line
- High consistency (70%+ hit rate)
- Positive edge (+10% or more)
Lean Play - Favorable Trend
The player shows positive momentum with a modest edge. Worth considering but not a slam dunk.
- Recent averages slightly above line
- Moderate consistency (55-70% hit rate)
- Positive edge (+5% to +10%)
Coin Flip - No Clear Edge
The numbers don't strongly favor either side. The line is fair and well-priced by books.
- Averages hovering around the line
- Mixed hit rate (45-55%)
- Minimal edge (-5% to +5%)
Lean Against - Negative Trend
The player is underperforming their line. Consider fading (betting the opposite).
- Recent averages below the line
- Low hit rate (30-45%)
- Negative edge (-5% to -10%)
Strong Avoid - Fade the Public
Significant negative indicators. If public money is on OVER, we strongly recommend UNDER (and vice versa).
- Averages significantly below line across all windows
- Very low hit rate (<30%)
- Large negative edge (< -10%)

The Champagnie Statistical Index combines 5 metrics to identify trending role players:
- PDR (Performance Divergence)30%
- MTS (Minutes Trend)15%
- CS (Consistency Score)25%
- LEG (Line Efficiency Gap)20%
- SSM (Position Bonus)+10-20
Trend Windows (L5/L10/L20)
We analyze multiple time windows with weighted importance:
- L5 (Last 5 Games)50% weight
- L10 (Last 10 Games)35% weight
- L20 (Last 20 Games)15% weight
Higher weight on recent games captures hot streaks faster.
Edge Percentage
How much the player's average exceeds (or trails) the book line:
- +10% or more = Strong value
- +5% to +10% = Moderate value
- -5% to +5% = Fair line
- -5% or less = Fade territory
Top Books Lines
Real-time odds from major sportsbooks:
- Lines sourced from DraftKings, FanDuel, Caesars, BetMGM
- Consensus Line = median of all available lines
- Best Line = most favorable for the recommended direction
- All recommended lines are rounded to .0 or .5 only
